This is from driving back from tessa and live's wedding with my DTS roommate who I hadn't seen in 4 years. They are b.c. cherries, which apparently are the best.

Friendly Faces
I love my friend susie... a whole lot!!
she comes out with great one liners in fact there is a twitter devoted to her... called
@_susiesaysz
@_susiesaysz
She is really smart and a great friend, and i dare you to start a conversation with her about politics!
right now she describes her life.... Rewarding, (requires) perseverance and fulfilled and that her friendships here in Australia are what make this time worth it.
"i want to name my kid ferris, but dont tell anyone because i want to get married"
"I didnt have any pets but I dreamed about having a dalmation and naming it freckles".
This just a very small glimpe of an incredible woman who I am honoured to call friend!
SHE IS SO FREAKIN BEAUTIFUL!

if i got a tattoo
i've thought if I were to get a tattoo, I would get a swallow on my arm in bright colors. As it has zero meaning to me, i would only get it if I was guaranteed that roughly around my 30th birthday, it would disappear.
my family was having an outing where we painted ceramics (hang around with the neubauers long enough and you will do things like that) and I decided that since i won't get the tattoo, I'd put it on a mug. So now instead of my ba tattoo, i have a ba mug.

Strawberry Crumble & Melissa
I have been looking forward to friday night for one reason.
I had plans to make strawberry crumble (or the likes of)
come with me on this beyond delicious journey!
i like to use as many organic products as possible, i also rarely clean my computer screen |
so you cut the strawberries and have some fun adding honey, dont go crazy though |
then make the crumble? this included, oats, brown sugar, shredded cococut, almond flakes, cinnamon and a tad bit of melted butter |
create, *mouth waters* |
find an awesome friend have her tell you about life |
if your friend is this cool your crumble will cook in no time at all |
yeah, melissa is pretty sweet |
golden brown... almonds screaming "oh gawssssh eat me eat me if you know whats good for you eat me" |
be in awe (let it cool down) for like 5 minutes |
get someone else to serve it so you can have the first bite? haha |

Today I had to find a home for mine and my housemates baby, Chad he is a rabbit. I took him home to my mums which is about an hour away, my brother took to him instantly. Chad will get to share the home with my mum, brother, zoe mac zozo also known as mastersplinter and my mums ever growing garden of succulents ( my hometown had water restriction which caused mum to only grow plants that do not require watering)
Meet Chad |

odd job #1
on wednesday, i'm working with a non-profit event that builds bikes for little kids. The way it works is the non-profit goes to a company for a day and the employees are divided into teams. The teams compete to get the parts they need, build two bikes per team, and then race them around to make sure they were put together correctly (plus a technician checks them out). The bikes are then donated to a children's charity. I am not at all the do-gooder in this scenario---just the person who responded to a Craigslist ad to fill the need for some workers for the day, but I'm pretty excited to get paid to be a part of something as fun as that! Plus the money is going towards my ticket back to australia, so it's all going to good things. To go with this posting, here are some cute drawings of bikes which google images has a ton of.
though lets be honest, the bikes they make are not going to be this cute. |

left brain. right brain.
these were taken from a mercedes benz ad, suggested by joel ashmun on his fbook.
makes left brainers look quite boring, but like a lot of things, i think I rest somewhere right in the middle.
please.
Manners are based on an ideal of empathy, of imagining the impact of one’s own actions on others. They involve doing something for the sake of other people that is not obligatory and attracts no reward.” —Lynne Truss

youth
a power division which imposes limits and produces and order to which each person must keep
a social and cultural construction immersed in techniques of control
a problem to be regulated and controlled through intervention
where is our hope?
I am currently studying youth culture and risk at university.

And what a story. The first thing that drew me in was disblief. What? Humanity sins but it's God's Son who pays the price? I tried to imagine Father saying to me, "Piscine, a lion slipped into the llama pen today and killed two llamas. Yesterday another one killed a black buck. Last week two of them ate the camel. The week before it was painted storks and grey herons. And who's to say for sure who snacked on our golden agouti? The situation has become intolerable. Something must be done. I have decided that the only way the lions can atone for their sins is if I feed you to them."
"Yes, Father, that would be the right and logical thing to do. Give me a moment to wash up."
"Hallelujah, my son."
"Hallelujah, Father."

gypsies.
This photo is from India when we spent a day in a day care center for gypsy kids. They are two brothers and the one on the right is named 'Santosh', which means 'joy!' Gypsies are a rejected people group all over and in India, they live on the side of the road and kill animals for food. When the kids start walking, they're left on their own while the parents go to the markets for the day to sell things. This center ran a school for the little kids who are left wandering while their parents work. I don't often get sentimental when I meet kids in other parts of the world, but the boy on the right was a really memorable little person, and this is one of my favorite photos.
